Connect the Mac App Store
StoreFast reads your Mac apps from App Store Connect with an API key you create. Your apps' downloads, sales and reviews then show up on the same dashboard as your other apps. StoreFast can only read for now. It doesn't publish to the Mac App Store or edit your App Store listing.
- 1
Create an API key
In App Store Connect, open Users and Access›Integrations›App Store Connect API. If your team hasn't used the API before, the Account Holder has to press Request Access and accept Apple's terms first. Apple usually approves it right away. Then choose Team Keys. Create a key with the Admin role and download the AuthKey .p8 file. Apple only lets you download it once. Copy the Issuer ID from the top of the same page.
- 2
Add it to StoreFast
On your dashboard, open Connect the Mac App Store (Add Mac App Store apps once you have other apps), drop in the .p8 file and paste the Issuer ID. StoreFast stores the key encrypted.
- 3
Add your vendor number
Apple only sends downloads and sales with your vendor number. It’s at the top left of Payments and Financial Reports, next to your account name. Paste it in the same form. You can change it later in Account settings.
What you get
Downloads, sales as proceeds in US dollars, and reviews, which StoreFast translates.
What it doesn't do yet
StoreFast doesn't publish to the Mac App Store, doesn't edit App Store listings and doesn't support iOS apps. The MCP server, REST API, GitHub Action, webhooks and emails work with Microsoft Store apps only.
