10.3 Product is Testable
This comes in the certification report when testers couldn't test your app, most often because it needs a sign-in or a server they couldn't use.
What it means
Policy 10.3 says the product must be testable. 10.3.1 says that if it needs login credentials, you must give a working demo account in the Notes for certification field. 10.3.2 says any server it needs must be working during review.
How to fix it
- Create a test account that someone outside your team can sign in with, and that can reach every paid or locked feature.
- On the submission's Submission options page, write Notes for certification with the user name and password, steps to reach hidden or locked features, anything that differs by region, what changed in this update and the date. Microsoft reminds you that a real person reads them.
- Keep your servers and services online until certification finishes.
- Create a new submission with the notes filled in.
Does StoreFast check this?
StoreFast keeps your notes for certification on the app and sends them with every update, so the test account goes out each time without retyping it.
Sending the fixed update with StoreFast
StoreFast can send your next update to Partner Center from a dashboard, CI or a coding agent.
